Dear Yale-NUS community and friends,

We are looking forward to the start of the new academic year. It will be an enriching time ahead with exciting curricular offerings by our current and new faculty members, engagement events, and our legacy building projects. Among our new faculty members are Visiting Associate Professor Louisa Lombard from Yale University, Visiting Professor Maxwell Boykoff from University of Colorado (Boulder), and our very own Yale-NUS alumna, Lecturer (Philosophy) Sherice Ngaserin Ng (Class of 2018), who did her PhD in Philosophy at the Rackham Graduate School at the University of Michigan.  

A year ago, we embarked on a series of legacy projects to celebrate and document the achievements and stories of Yale-NUS College. Many of our community members have been hard at work on the various projects – the Legacy website, College Digital Archives, Heritage Wall, Legacy Book, and Sculpture. I am excited to share that our Legacy website will have a soft launch in September. We can’t wait to share our stories with you, and are extremely proud of the efforts and contributions of our student, alumni, staff and faculty.
