Dear Yale-NUS community and friends,
As the semester draws to a close, I would like to take this chance to thank all of you for your support this year, working with us to build a strong Yale-NUS community and ensure our legacy lives on.
This year, we launched the Yale-NUS Legacy website, showcasing an interactive virtual campus tour with dynamic storytelling which portrays the vibrancy of life and learning at the College. In the year ahead, we look forward to launching our other legacy projects, namely the Legacy Sculpture, Heritage Wall Exhibit, and the Legacy Book.
I am also pleased to share that our alumni organisation the Yale-NUS Club is being formed and the Club’s Executive Committee has recently been elected. The Yale-NUS Club aims to strengthen the bonds of the Yale-NUS community by facilitating meaningful connections through networking events and reunions and providing opportunities for continued learning. Yale University has offered staff support to the Club for the next five years, while NUS College (NUSC) will support the reunion events on campus.
As we move into our final years, I see us looking more and more to our alumni to take the lead in forging lasting bonds for Yale-NUS, and I am confident they will continue to fly the Yale-NUS flag high. At the same time, we will ensure our alumni are well supported, be it in the areas of alumni work or their personal and career developments. We have worked with our counterparts at Yale and NUS who will provide a suite of resources to support our alumni after the College closes in 2025.
Yale

Sincerely,
Joanne Roberts
