Leaders in education share their well-wishes for President Joanne Roberts as she takes office in the new Academic Year 2022/23.
The Education Magazine featured Yale-NUS College in its issue on ’10 Most Prominent Arts and Science Colleges 2022′ (pages 40 to 43). The article noted that the College is currently recognised as a leading liberal arts and sciences college in Asia that offers a full residential programme with integrated living and learning. The article noted that Professor Joanne Roberts is the college’s Executive Vice President (Academic Affairs) and President-Designate. She has been overseeing all academic and student programming, including admissions, financial aid, and others while working closely with the faculty and staff.
The Straits Times reported that Professor Joanne Roberts has been appointed as the third president of the College. It noted that outgoing president Professor Tan Tai Yong will complete his full five-year term in June 2022, and that the Yale-NUS Governing Board unanimously voted to appoint Prof Roberts as Prof Tan’s successor.
