The Fabrication Studios support classes; engage with students and faculty on their ideas for ad-hoc projects; and custom models for research. The Studios host a range of activities from laser etching and soldering to 3D printing Life Sciences’ models (e.g. bone structure) and large format printing for Scientific Inquiry.
Some exciting projects include working with students to build a radio telescope, acrylic models for The Future of Our Pasts’ Project and 3D print skulls for staging Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
