Groups bring the community together around shared experiences or interests and add an exciting kind of energy to Cross Campus. Group members can share ideas; ask or answer questions; post events, webinars, articles and guides; and strengthen our community around a shared sense of who we each are, where we each live, what we each care about, and what we each do well.
Some groups have membership criteria, such as sharing particular university experiences like athletics or having graduated from specific schools or in specific majors. Others may speak to interests nurtured while as a student or developed since graduation. Yale-NUS students and alumni might find some of the following groups of interest to them:
- 1stGen Yale (for first in families or from underserved backgrounds to graduate from college)
- Dwight Hall (for those interested in public service and social justice)
- Health Professions (for those interested in health professional careers such as medical, dental, veterinary, nursing, pharmaceutical, etc.)
- Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance (YANA) (for those interested in the social impact sector)
- Yale Blue Green (for those interested in environment and sustainability)
- Yale International Alliance (for those interested in international connections and Yale Common Room discussions)
- Yale Women (a group for alumnae committed to advancing women’s voices and perspectives and to enriching and inspiring one another, Yale, and the world)
And of course, we hope you will join the Yale-NUS group on Cross Campus.
