Wingspan
Wingspan is Yale-NUS College’s alumni newsletter. Redesigned in 2021, Wingspan was conceived with the idea of creating an alumni newsletter which was more modern, visually appealing, and casual.
“Wingspan” evokes the idea of a bird with wings outstretched, in flight; similar to the alumni who have left the comforting nest of the College to spread their wings on their own journeys.
Many birds also shelter their chicks under outstretched wings. “Wingspan” also symbolically represents this shelter and support alumni provide to each other, as well as to the younger students who are under their wing.
