Cross Campus is Yale University’s platform for networking, community-building, and mentorship, designed to facilitate mentoring relationships between Yale students and alumni. As International Affiliates of the Yale Alumni Association, Yale-NUS alumni have full access to Yale’s Cross Campus platform.
Alumni signing up for the first time should do so with their numerical NUS Life-long email address, which should be in the form a1234567@u.nus.edu or e1234567@u.nus.edu, and not your personal or friendly email address. This is the email that Yale has on file for you. Once you sign up, you can change your login to any email address you wish in your account preferences.
Why Join Cross Campus?
Cross Campus draws the alumni community closer and bolsters the alumni experience through the exchange of advice, wisdom, and ideas. Alumni can give back and share all that they have learned. Students and alumni seeking advice can network, get pointers from those who have been through the process, and find one-on-one coaching from alumni who have “walked in their shoes”. Best of all, connecting alumni opens their eyes to opportunity — both on campus and beyond.
For Yale-NUS alumni, many of whom are young professionals, Yale’s broad alumni network is a valuable resource for Yale-NUS alumni looking to connect with mentors with greater career and life experience. Yale-NUS alums can also join interest groups of like-minded alumni who are interested in making an impact in the world, broadening their networks and building communities.
Cross Campus also aims to provide Yale-NUS alumni a structural platform which allows them to stay connected and support each other through their professional and personal lives. It is also part of the College’s efforts to build support structures to help alumni give back to the College, and contribute to providing current students the full Yale-NUS experience through to 2025. For example, Cross Campus is the platform where Yale-NUS alumni can mentor a current Yale-NUS student through the Alumni Mentorship Programme. Click here for more details.
Similar connections will be made with the National University of Singapore (NUS) and their alumni community in the near future.
