May 2021 – Open Studio
The AIR Programme hosted an open studio event for the campus community as well as the general public with artist Beatrice Glow at the studio in Gillman Barracks to conclude the residency where she shared works in progress, artistic research and creative thoughts with diverse visitors. March & May 2021 – Studio Workshops

January 2021 – AIR Dialogue

December 2020 – Sculpting Movement End of Semester Showcase
Students from the Sculpting Movement course taught by artist-in-residence Sai explored a range of materials and processes to generate installation based “kinetic” artworks displayed in the art studios during the End of Semester show where all students enrolled on arts courses are given an opportunity to showcase their new works. Students on the Sculpting Movement course visited Un Studio with woodworker Liu Yang & ceramicist Rei and Experimental art space Comma Space with Curator Dr. Wang Ruobing where they viewed “The Waiting Machine” with Singaporean artist Yang Jie, learning about the day to day running of independent art studio spaces. January-May 2020: Culturing Nature Class
In Yang and Donner’s studio art course – Culturing Nature: Gardens in Ecological Art – students are invited to engage with ecology as a starting point for creative research. Through a multi-sensory approach, students interact with gardens on and off-campus, experimenting with drawing, photography and multimedia projects as ways to observe, represent and imagine the ways humans relate to the living world in an age of environmental urgency. Jurong Garden Visit
Yang and Donner worked with the College community on the ‘Farm to Fork’ programme run by students and Yale-NUS Assistant Professor of Social Sciences (Environmental Studies) Marvin Montefrio. The artists have also worked with community members at the Sky Garden@Jurong Central where they conducted interviews with local urban gardeners and did sound recordings of the garden together with students.
