VERE360 (Virtual Experience Real Empathy 360) was founded to develop immersive technology content for social issues education around the ASEAN region.

About the project

Now a Singapore-based start-up that democratises experiential learning using virtual reality, VERE360 has developed a library of virtual reality (VR) educational content based on various curricula for k12. VERE360 is incubated by the National University of Singapore (NUS) Enterprise and is part of Singapore’s first Edtech Accelerator, EduSpaze (supported by Enterprise Singapore).

Intention and Impact

The team believes that they can help raise awareness and develop empathy towards these issues by allowing people to take on the perspective of those suffering from social issues using immersive technologies such as VR. VERE360 works with local and regional social enterprises to develop immersive content to draw more attention to the efforts of these organisations. They also develop immersive technology-assisted curricula and workshops for schools and governmental institutions to help educate people about social issues. VERE 360 has an on-going partnership with more than 10 organisations and schools and have showcased our work to hundreds of people all over Singapore through workshops and events.
