P.S. We Care is a student group that provides one-on-one confidential peer counselling for Yale-NUS students, operating everyday (except Saturday), from 9PM till 12AM.
Resources within NUS Kent Ridge Campus
The primary place for students to consult a physician and obtain prescription medication. UHC physicians may refer students to see a specialist at National University Hospital (NUH), which is located next to the NUS campus. NUH is a tertiary hospital with 24-hours Accident & Emergency (A&E) Services.
All students should bring their matriculation cards; Singaporean students and permanent residents should bring their identity cards; and international students should bring their student passes and passports.

A division under the University Health Centre, UCS offers professional help in counselling and mental health concerns. CPS has a team of professional counselors and psychologists available to provide support for mental health concerns.

The NUH Accident & Emergency (A&E) services are open 24/7. The A&E entrance is at the corner of the building past the taxi stand, away from Kent Ridge MRT station.
For non-emergency medical care after UHC hours, students may visit polyclinics (government hospitals) or private clinics.

Off-Campus Resources
Care Corner Counselling provides counselling to all in English, Mandarin and various Chinese dialects on issues such as interpersonal relationships, dating relationships, depression or bipolar disorder, anxiety or phobia or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anorexia or bulimia, mental illnesses, gambling addiction, sexuality, grief and loss, stress management, and self-esteem.

AWARE assists women in areas such as sexual harassment and assault, marital or relationship issues, psychological issues, stress management, bereavement, grief and loss, crisis and trauma, family violence, sexuality issues, and adjustment and relocation issues.

Oogachaga has LGBTQ-friendly counsellor working with clients on the following issues: sexual orientation and gender identity, sexuality, sexual behaviour and sexual health, relationships with family members and partners, mental and psychological health, personal issues, including coping with school, National Service and employment, as well as other issues, including partner violence, self-harm and suicide.

External Panel of Therapists
Students who have specialised needs can receive a referral to see an external panel of therapists. Students may have up to 16 counselling sessions paid for by the college during their time in Yale-NUS, subject to the suitability and availability of the referrals. Kindly request for a referral from one of the Counselling Centre’s therapists or email counselling@yale-nus.edu.sg. Each referral allows the student to attend 8 sessions, and a new referral is required for an additional 8 sessions if indicated. We currently refer students to: Alliance Counselling Pte Ltd
