Sterling Professor of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Professor of Chemistry, Yale University
Sidney Altman, Sterling Professor of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Professor of Chemistry at Yale University, shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1989 for the discovery of catalytic properties of RNA. The Altman lab at Yale is concerned with the function and structure of ribonuclease P in both bacteria and human cells.
Professor Altman will address “Antibiotics: Present and Future” in his lecture at Yale-NUS College. A Q&A session will follow the lecture.
