Learn the basic particles and grammatical structure of the classical Chinese language through close reading of texts from the pre- and early-imperial periods.
Learn the writing systems, vocabulary, and syntax of Roman texts, as well as the literature and culture of the Roman world.
Learn the syntax and vocabulary of ancient Greek texts, and cultural knowledge of ancient Greek society.
Learn the writing systems, vocabulary, and syntax of classical Sanskrit texts.
